I'm Nathan Potts, I am a self-taught taxidermist. I have been doing taxidermy since 2015. I started with just doing European mounts. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to learn from experienced taxidermists. I enjoy doing all styles of taxidermy, but I truly enjoy doing fish.  I have brought some of my pieces to the Nebraska State Taxidermy Competition since 2016. I started taxidermy competitions in South Dakota in 2021. At these competitions, all of my pieces are critiqued by professional taxidermists. At the competitions I began as an amateur, I now enter as a professional.

When I am not doing taxidermy, I am outside enjoying the outdoors. I enjoy fishing, deer and pheasant hunting, and being with family and friends.
